Fonogram Award-winning artist Mehringer has spent the last four years creating music and performing across Hungary, earning a reputation as one of the most exciting new voices in the country’s alternative pop scene.

After years of steady growth and relentless work, Mehringer truly broke through in 2025 with the hit single “SZAR AZ ÉLET,” reaching his widest audience to date.

In November 2025, he played two sold-out headline shows at Akvárium Klub in Budapest, became a staple act of the Hungarian festival season, completed two successful nationwide club tours, and appeared at both the MVM Dome and Papp László Arena as a guest performer. He has performed on the main stage of SZIN Festival, and over the years his band has played multiple times at the 12,000-capacity Budapest Park. On July 16, 2026, Mehringer will headline Budapest Park for the very first time — with more than 50% of tickets already sold five months ahead of the show.

On May 29, 2026, Mehringer released his second studio album, “SZABADSÁG, SZERELEM” (“Freedom, Love”), which will also be presented live at Budapest Park.

In a remarkably short time, Mehringer has built an outstanding audience: his songs have surpassed 100 million streams, he currently reaches over 320,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, his tracks receive regular radio rotation, and his latest releases consistently trend near the top of YouTube’s music charts in Hungary.

Mehringer writes and produces his music together with producer Illés Ferenc (sosehol), SOMODY and has collaborated with key figures of Hungary’s new wave scene including Lil Frakk, Filo, Kristoaf, Molnár Tamás, and Indigo, as well as major names such as Halott Pénz and Váradi Roma Café. His latest album also features a collaboration with legendary Hungarian songwriter Gábor Presser.

Beyond music, Mehringer Marci maintains a strong online presence and has attracted the attention of global brands, working for years with partners such as Pepsi and Yves Saint Laurent.
