А unique concert on October 25th will take place at 4.00 pm in the incredibly atmospheric Canisius Church in Vienna. “Howl’s Moving Castle”, “Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind”, “Spirited Away”, and “My Neighbor Totoro” - you will hear fantastically charming soundtracks from world-famous anime by the greatest modern Japanese composer, Jo Hisaishi. Plunge into the world of fantastic music in the heartfelt, most colourful performance of the contemporary orchestra Mystery Ensemble. Delight for the whole family is guaranteed.

Throughout his long career, Hisaishi has worked extensively on music for film, anime, computer games, television and advertising. He also created the music for the 1998 Paralympic Games in Nagano. Hisaishi's most famous works are for the cult films of Takeshi Kitano and, of course, for the cartoons of Hayao Miyazaki.

Hisaishi and Miyazaki are a union of equal brilliant creators. You will never understand for sure: Miyazaki's films became brilliant thanks to Hisaishi's music or Hisaishi's music became brilliant thanks to Miyazaki's films.

An unusually beautiful concert in the atmospheric interiors of Canisius Church on a cozy autumn evening!
